I have multiple years of experience in family law. Prior to working exclusively in family law, my career began at a worldly prominent law firm, Baker Mckenzie LLP, where I gained valuable experience in significant financial and business transactions. Before establishing my own legal practice, I respectively worked at McInnis & Nicoll, and Mahdi Leite Family Law LPP.
My clients and colleagues describe me as a devoted and enthusiastic advocate. I am dedicated to representing clients and ensuring that they fully comprehend and assert their legal rights in every case. I strive to obtain the most positive outcomes for my clients while keeping costs to a minimum. I am proficient in handling various family law matters, including children and parenting issues, child support, spousal support, and complex property division that involves business interests.
I also provide guidance to clients on marriage and cohabitation agreements, which range from basic to intricate contracts with corporate and trust components.
Although I encourage clients to seek alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation, arbitration, and settlement discussions, I will not hesitate to proceed with court action if it is in my clients’ best interests.
I bring an international legal background to my practice, having earned my Bachelor of Law from CUPL (China University of Political Science), a Master of Law in public international law from Leiden University, the Netherlands, and a Master of Law from the University of Toronto. I am fluent in Mandarin and therefore also serve these communities as well.
When I am not busy in the courtroom, I love to cook, and travel. I also enjoy photography and painting.
